Yes… SM is newer and was built on the same core system as BD. Hence why I said, SM and BD have always been connected. SM has existed for a while now and not caused issues like this prior. Hence my statement, “Just to clarify, SM and BD have ALWAYS been connected”. I was referring to the fact that since SM has existed, it’s been connected to BD. Not that SM existed since BD’s conception. However, SM isn’t new. It’s been here for years now and has not caused issues like this before (hence unforeseen).
And I’ve made 4 of the big events on Battledawn… I’ve been here since E1A1 OC… sooo no… I don’t know what you’re talking about. Unless by “events” you mean them doing something slightly different in how they drop relics or something… but I don’t really consider that being an event… it’s really just a slight small change to an era. There’s been a few events that failed, hence they were not done again. Like the era admin gave special team super units. But otherwise, I honestly don’t know what you’re trying to refer to. As for admin activity, yes, that was higher back in the day. As for BD falling, no, not really. It’s dropped from back in it’s prime, no doubt. But it’s got a very dedicated and stable community.
As for 6 tickers working well back in the day, maybe from a player perspective… but for an admin, it’s extremely hard to stay on top of everything. It takes time to look into things and in that time, a player could have cheated and done irreversible damage to a team. Something players are not very forgiving of towards admins for missing. Simply put, it’s a lot of stress for a single admin. Not saying it’s not do-able. Simply stating why there’s not one running at all times.
