It’ll last a year for sure, not so sure what happens after that though
Is a zombie game…
Small little analysis :
- Player Base prior to Covid 19 : 400-500 , possibly 600-800 on super duper events
- Player Base after Covid 19 : capable of reaching over 1k
- This topic’s download analysis shows the percentages dropping and not increasing at all
Now we have another few question , have you ever wondered why the ingame usernames are randomly generated just like campaign bots ? ever find the game so easy that you feel lile 75% of players that you play against are only mindless bots themselves ?
dang, good question!
honestly i find the random nicknames cringy , that the game initially gives to players.
Players that will go with their default nickname, having an ign that doesn’t relate to them at all and they probably don’t even know what it means…the heck means “Proto chimaera” ?!
the game does not have many players.
are also the “insane” who have both 2 and 3 accounts …
in the arena, the players you can find at your level, (whatever that is) are less than 20 …
Rember this is only on moble
50% of players
It´s logical that with the quarantines and the “stay at home”, everything that has to do with the internet increases the audience. Internet service providers are the big winners of the pandemic.
That doesn´t mean that what they offer is of good quality.
And returning to the topic of Tacticsoft or Supermech in times of coronavirus, for a humanitarian matter, we would have expected some kind of special consideration towards the players. Unfortunately it didn´t happen.
With the pandemic, owners became more ambitious, paid less attention to the game, gave the f2p player fewer opportunities, decreased controls allowing item and / or token thieves to appropriate the game, at times in exchange for advertising to Supermechs.
They have really done very little to improve the player experience, facing a global situation of recession, loss of jobs or decrease in wages, in addition to the loss of health and sometimes of a loved one. Obviously Tacticsoft will not receive any recognition for having acted with ethics, morals and humanity during all this difficult period.
And they will remain to do this
They will keep the game a cash grab untill its dead
Edit: my one wish is they give the game to another owner
What dead once can’t die twice
Sometimes, I think it may be helpful that we not confuse a dying game with lack of communication from Devs.
They are releasing 1-2 new items a month, sales are nearly every other day. They are relatively at their 1-year all-time high (I would guess).
So, in my opinion, the game is no where near dying. Yes, many old players are frustrated, but those players likely aren’t who SM is targeting these days. People need to understand that.
200k/downloads in 1 month = no where near death…
So how many bots are currently in arena? That’s a really interesting thing to discuss. Never thought about that.
conduct and experiment yourself , make a new account , if you see the enemy player makes decisions immediately without thinking after your turn is over ,chances that it’s a bot
On R25-20 all arena enemies are bots, that exist like a 2 years already… idk because of low online or for training of newbees (mostly like online is reason) but whatever
The cheating at SuperMechs at the moment is ridiculous, at both …
Single gameplay / accounts
Clan ranking (at Tops)
… at the moment these cheaters are laughing, BUT be 100% sure … it will have an end, as it had with all cheaters from the past, who are banned now
The game is not dying, and anyone who thinks it is dying it’s clearly incapable to comprehend logic.
There is also the pandemic
