@princekael2, did read it, and you named all the other team and yourself as “better than everyone else”. Perhaps if you and Jazz weren’t so busy trolling us in F3 you would have won M1 by now.
And I agree with @Swagger, this sort of thing would have to be done on an era by era basis. But, there is a difference between sending relics out to the ocean whilst fighting a war and then just stacking your army on them and training more and more units because you know that you wouldn’t be to war properly. If the team with the relics is just turtling in the corner of the map then that clearly is not the sign of a winning team… They are instead totally taking advantage of game mechanics.
@princekael2 I’m not quite sure you recognise how much of a pain it is to do what you’re saying. You have to fly relics over SA/NA, which will almost always have teams that pose a potential threat to your relic, you have to stack up almost all your army onto the relic, meaning that much of the rest of your network is undefended and you’re incredibly open to attack, and even then when you arrive it doesn’t really matter how many ships you bring, unless you’re super fucking fast adding sp, you’re gonna get locked and spied and killed - that happened to WILD and it was kind of bullshit that the turtling team then claimed to have pulled something amazing off…
When SGC had to do the same a few eras ago against OwK who were sat camping on a relic, we almost crashed the server with the amount of units we were launching at the relic, because OwK had stacked about 300 ships on a relic at sea. We had to have all 12 people online to add sp as fast as possible and caught 5 agents within 40 seconds of us landing… This enemy team were conquered, they were being nuked, they had no network, but they just sat training more shit and sending it to the relic. At the same time 4E was still a powerful team, and there was a real threat that during the several days our units were at sea that 4E could have just attacked and we would have been fucked, despite us totally outplaying and killing them earlier in the era. It’s all another total bullshit scenario - it’s all very well to say “Just kill their armies” but when the armies just run off to the relic each time then it’s literally impossible to.
This needs to be recognised as an issue and Tom is totally correct to be trying to find a solution.
